The Richmond-Tweed Family History Society was formed in 1983. The Society takes its name from the area between two local rivers that flow into the Pacific Ocean on the northern New South Wales coast of Australia.
The Richmond River enters the Pacific Ocean at Ballina whilst the Tweed River flows into the Pacific Ocean at Tweed Heads on the New South Wales / Queesland border.
Meetings are held on the first Saturday of each month (except January) at The Players Theatre, 24 Swift Street, Ballina starting at 2pm.
The Society produces a Journal "The Cedar Log" four times a year in March, June, September and December.
